WELCOME

The museum houses old movie memorabilia, communication, local history, musical pieces, all set out in a series of rooms built by volunteers. And an extensive range of early agricultural tools and machinery will evoke memories of yesteryear. Located at 46 King Street, Clifton QLD, open to the public 10am – 2pm Friday – Monday and at other times by arrangement.

The New Museum is light and airy with modern conveniences, easy to negotiate with wheelchair access, all on one level.

A rare Ferrier Triple Woolpress, built by Humble & Sons of Geelong, cc 1915 and used on local ‘Hunsingore Station’ until 1965.


A square Grand Piano from mid-1800’s thought to be one of only two in Queensland.
